Momentum Fact Sheet — September 2025

Momentum Fact Sheet — September 2025

September saw a continuation of the risk rally that started in the early summer months following the tariff debacle earlier in the year (which is far from over). Global equities gained more ground, underpinned by a resurgent US market and strong tech performance. Sovereign bond performance moderated after some front running of renewed Fed rate cuts, and concerns over Fed independence, led investors to a more cautious rate cutting outlook beyond 2026. The shining star of the show, however, was gold once again, surging ahead on renewed momentum and buyer support.
